what should I do if someone says a flirty comment? Do I go with it or politely tell them that's not appropriate here?
We are human right? Well that’s not my question but it leads up to one that I am wondering…What should I do if someone says a flirty comment? In response to that should I just go with it or politely tell them that’s not appropriate here? I am not aware of how to handle such a situation.
Depends on where you are. If you’re at a resort and someone says something inappropriate, you can report them to the staff and they will usually take very swift action. If you are at a beach, then you can tell them exactly what you said above. And if they keep pestering you, there are usually a lot of people around who have no problem telling off some creep who bothers the women there.

LikeDislikeAs a human being, you have a right to tell someone that its not appropriate to flirt with you if you are not welcoming it. However, if they persist, depending on where you are, you may be able to tell someone and have them removed.

LikeDislikeDefine “flirty comment.” There’s many degrees of flirty from harmless to obnoxious. Only you know if it crosses the line of your comfort zone. You can tell them you don’t feel what they said is nice, and if they persist, report them to management.
