How do I introduce nudism to my girlfriend?
My girlfriend isn’t the least bit interested in trying clothing optional recreation. I asked her if she’d go to a nudist spa or resort but she told me she thought they were gross and filled with nothing but old fat people. I told her that all types of people go, but she still wasn’t budging. I want to be able to go to nudist events and resorts, but I’m not sure if it would be okay to go alone. Any thoughts?
My husband introduced me to nudism by telling me he liked to walk in the woods nude, wanted to try the nude beach then nude resort. I did not like my body and after seeing all the variety of shapes at the resort I became a very avid nudist.

LikeDislikeFirst, its probably not best to push it on your girlfriend. What you could do is however is try home nudism. There are also a lot of places where you could go by yourself.
I do want to make a comment on the others though, it does not help swearing or making insensitive comments.
Anyways, there are some places you can try yourself. The only idea I can suggest about your girlfriend is informing her why nudism is important to you, but still do not push her going. She may not go, but at least she would understand why you want to go.

LikeDislikeThe most important part of a relationship is mutual respect for one another no matter what the quirks are. My man for example likes to fly his radio controlled air planes all the time which is something I support but many not necessarily show as much enthusiasm for…all the time. The problem with nudism is that it is not entirely a recreation for some but a complete lifestyle. I recommend you embrace this as your lifestyle if that is what you want and evaluate your relationship status if your girlfriend is not entirely supportive of who you are.
There are ways to get a women interested in nudism for its wholesome values of body acceptance. My personal recommendation is to seek out a local women’s spa and treat your girlfriend to a moment of pampering. Many of these spas are clothing optional which cater to women alone. Be sure to select a facility where social nudity is the norm so your woman can experience it around other women firsthand. Once she gets past her inhibitions and body complexes, she may be more inclined to give social nudity a chance with you. Good luck!

LikeDislikeThe whole idea of “dating” before marriage is to find a mate that you are compatible with, not make the person into the mate that you want. Seriously, if you don’t like the person find someone else. It is also not important that you both like and engage in all of the same activities. If she is not interested on going along and will put up with you going without her. It will work. If she is too possessive of your time or too insecure then it’s time to for her to go find someone else. My wife is not a nudist but tolerates me being one. I love her for it. We’ve been married for 32 years.

LikeDislikeAgree with most comments…if it is super important to your happiness find another girlfriend. My wife knows I go to the nude beach from time to time but there is no way in hell she would go. I think it is different for women. The ratio is typically 3 or 4 guys to every woman and if she is youger/attractive guys will look at her…just a fact. I would love for my wife to be more “open” about things like this but I am not going to change wives over nudity but it is much easier to change GF’s so change now if she is not a match for you.

LikeDislikeI guess we are all in agreement. Give her opportunities to ease into it or make sure that she will tolerate your going alone to nudist events. If all that is not successful, then in the end you have to make a decision. You don’t want to marry someone who will not let you be happy in a way that is important to you.
Is it important enough to break up? That is your decision.
