Why does it matter whether or not you can be naked. I just don’t see the big deal.

Being naked is not a “big deal”; it is the way God made us and this is the way many of us feel most comfortable in appropriate places and at appropriate times. The flip side of this question might be; what is the “big deal” about wearing clothes?
I enjoy walking around without clothes on. It’s not a big deal, just enjoying the freedom of feeling the air on my whole body.

As the unpocodecafe said, what is the big deal of wearing clothes? Why should I have to risk arrest just to be naked out in the open air, as long as I don’t try to flaunt it inappropriately? Shouldn’t I be allowed to be naked in designated areas?
I agree with clotheless I feel that anyone who enjoys being nude in their own home and have a sign designating it as such so just as you would have the Beware of Dog sign on fence you also have a similar sign stating Clothing Optional Residence which would infer nudity can or will be visible to visitors. As long as this sign is posted and you are nude freely in your home or backyard it should be legal. I do side though with the view of front yard area being not ok to just show yourself to others while nude.

I don’t know what is the big deal about being naked…ask the ones that write the laws againt nudity, they are the ones that seem to take issue with nudity…not us!
To me it’s about being free of what most in the textile world, work hard to cover up or fix with clothes. I don’t have the perfect body. In the real world people judge us how we look, how we dress, how we cover up the many flaws we have. As a nudist, we have nothing to hide. We show what we have to the world we’re in. The others there see me as me. Non-perfect body? They don’t care, hopefully they like me because of who I am, not what I look like. Just as I see them as they are. Another human being who is willing to be free of their flaws and knows I am the same way.
I enjoy being nude just because I find it pleasant. It is hugely better for swimming. Try it, you will like it. Don’t deny yourself a great pleasure because of a senseless taboo that was knocked into your head as a child.

LikeDislikeEducation is the big deal.
Children in nudist families not used to be nudists, even more, they are no longer get the misplaced “impressions” by nude bodies.
