Heat Safety
Early this year I finally got the knack of sleeping nude. I have also discovered how much I like the feeling of not wearing clothes. Inside the house, anyway. Our region has very high summer heat and humidity, with the temperature feeling like 100+ in July, August, and September. I had to be out in the heat Saturday for a 4 hour class, and at the end of the class everyone was dealing with sweat-soaked clothes. Very uncomfortable, and I have a history of heat-related illness. So, if I get to try being outdoors without clothes, will my body have a harder time keeping cool because of more skin in the heat, or an easier time keeping cool because my body’s cooling system does not have to work through the air trapped in clothes?
