Do I really have to take everything off and get fully naked on my first time?
I have never been naked around other people at either a nudist resort or nude beach. When I decide to go my first time, do I have to take everything off? I’m not so sure if I can do that right away.
At resorts, they usually will require you to take your clothes off. At a beach, though, you can stay dressed if you wish, since there is nobody running the place. Many people, myself included, when going to a beach for the first time, might stay dressed for a while until they get comfortable enough to be nude.

LikeDislikeDepending if you are going to a clothing optional location or a nude only location. if its a nude only location, chances are they will require it. However, at a clothing optional location you’ll not be required to remove your clothing. But, participate in some way with people and don’t just sit there and stare.

LikeDislikeAt a public beach, swimming hole, or hot spring the rule is generally “Clothing Optional.” Dress or undress as you are comfortable doing. I’ve only been to one clothing optional location where everyone was nude. If someone wore a swimsuit I doubt anyone would have cared.
I’ve been to a number of private clubs and a few gatherings as well. In every case there were clothed people and nude people, no matter what the official rule was. Some places mandate nudity while swimming, in the sauna, or hot tub. Most people adhere to these rules, but I’ve seen even this rule overlooked from time to time.
