When I go down to Blacks Beach in San Diego Ca. I set up some volleyball courts to play beach doubles. Blacks Beach is also known for its surf, surf naked. Alot of nudists, play freesbie, bocce ball, over the line, build sand castles, surf, boogieboard, body surf, snorkel, scuba dive, swim, stand up paddle, kite surf, windsurf, kayak, BBQ just to name a few. Basically you can do the same things clothed as you can nude.
Obvious answer, but swimming….never understood the reason for swimsuits….also, anything that can mess up your clothes…like gardening, eating bar-b-que, pizza, etc.—and I wonder how many artists paint while naked?!?
Massages…giving OR receiving…..and is it OK to say play a game of Twister?!?….I mentioned art & artists earlier, so let us not forget posing….and also working out…after all, there is a reason that gymnasium in the original Greek means place to get naked!!!…
What can be done in the nude is limitless. As one person said, anything that can be done in clothing can be done nude.
Now there are some things that, while they can be done nude, it would be advisable not to do. One example would be cooking on a range (as you might get hit by grease and oils), Other than that, it’s an open game.
Swim, hike, scuba, snuba, sailing, boating, horse riding?
games, rock climbing, camping, & getting sun in process.
See 1965 movie The Raw Ones.
Good stuff then & Now
the narration issues are the Same Today vs then.
It would be easier to list the few things we haven’t done nude! We’ve lived, played and traveled nude for many years, and have done just about anything anyone would do in textiles. Some of the more unusual or unexpected things that we’ve enjoyed nude include:
Donating blood in a bloodmobile
Competing in a golf-cart obstacle course race
A Christmas hayride through the neighborhood
Giving juggling lessons on the beach
Blowing leaves off of my roof
Power-washing the house siding and back deck
Washing the cars
Parasailing
Dancing on the deck of a catamaran in St. Thomas
Playing mini-golf on the deck of a cruise ship
Performing in the passenger talent show on a cruise ship
… and much, much more.
In short, anything you can do, can be done more enjoyably and more naturally when nude!
Just about anything that you can do clothed, except perhaps fry bacon!
When asked “What sort of things do you do?” we normally reply; anything and everything that anyone does, it’s only the dress code that’s different.
Of course there are a few things that I would never do clothed and top of that list has to be swimming. Once you have swum without a costume you really don’t want to go back to wearing what must be the most pointless garment ever invented.
Of course the question is actually upside-down. People wear clothes for a reason — like warmth or protection. It’s just that naturists habitually ask the obvious question “What clothing is actually needed to do that?” Examples: What needs to be worn for sunbathing? (…perhaps sunglasses). What clothing is needed to watch tv? play tennis? go bicycling? cook dinner? etc etc If you always ask the question and then wear only the accessories needed for a given activity, you’re nude (or mostly) a lot.

I agree with breeze I view things as what do I need to be wearing to do certain things not so much as to what I could do while nude. I have hard enough time trying to be the only nudist in a family.
Run, eat, sleep, cook, socialize, play darts…it would be easier to answer what you can’t do naked.
