I’ve been to clothing optional events with friends in all types of environments and one thing I’ve noticed is there is some sort of not so subtle expectation to disrobe. After all it is a clothing optional event, right? Which means there must be someone willing to be the first to take their clothes off in front of everyone. Have you ever felt pressured to be naked in a social setting as described above? Have you ever felt pressured to get naked when it was more comfortable participating with the clothes that you arrived in?

Mainstream media has it known that one can be considered naked just by wearing their underpants/bras. Typical male nudists generally imply being naked to be without their pants while some women without their tops. So…what really does it mean to be naked?

Many debate the definition of the label nudism so I’d like to ask you what you think is and isn’t a nudist…If a person never leaves their house naked nor do they ever appear naked around others socially, are they still considered a nudist even if they enjoy being naked in the privacy of their own home?

If nude recreation became a widely acceptable and legal recreation, what affect do you think this would have on existing businesses and groups who currently promote nudism? Would these resorts go under because their facilities would have greater expectations by attending members given the supply and demand is greater? Would clubs and organizations disappear if nudism became a widely acceptable lifestyle where one would no longer need to congregate in backyards to experience nudism?

I’ve been to family naturist homes and realized that kids are not as clean and sanitary as most adults who are accustomed to wiping themselves after using the potty or sitting on a towel. This makes me wonder how do you properly train a child to keep clean and learn the “nude beach etiquette” mannerisms while growing up in a family naturist household? It seems this would be another principle to drill into the child and watch over constantly until he/she reaches the age of maturity. Are there any key tricks of the trade you can recommend?

What about outside of the home at family nudist resorts…I’d hate to have to discipline my child for not sitting on a towel when visiting a resort. It just seems so silly even though it serves a greater purpose.

In the meantime, what methods of discipline do you recommend for something like that? My parents used to pull my pants down and spank my bare bottom when I was a child which appears to be much more of an advantage for naturist parents. Friends of mine used to recommend that I wore extra layers if panties when I knew I was going to get a good spanking, let’s just say no child is perfect.
