I hear this phrase used a lot and just now in a recent question. What exactly is the nude beach etiquette and why should I apply it to my life?

I am not an exhibitionist and don’t want to get mistaken as one either. If my girlfriend and I show affection to one another (i.e. kiss, hold hands, give back rubs) will we get into trouble at a resort? I heard from a friend that he got scolded for giving this other friend of ours a foot massage at Glen Eden Sun Club. I don’t want the same to happen to my new girl and I since we can hardly keep our hands off each other.

This is one I have had a hard time getting an answer to and think it might be helpful to people new to Nudism / Naturism. Is it inappropriate to put sunscreen on one’s breasts, and between one’s legs, in the open at a Nudist gathering?

Is it okay if I just sit and watch others hang out naked even though I am not undressed?

I have never been naked around other people at either a nudist resort or nude beach. When I decide to go my first time, do I have to take everything off? I’m not so sure if I can do that right away.

Do I go with it or politely tell them that’s not appropriate here?

We are human right? Well that’s not my question but it leads up to one that I am wondering… What should I do if someone says a flirty comment? In response to that should I just go with it or politely tell them that’s not appropriate here? I am not aware of how to handle such a situation.
