Are streakers and nudists the same?
Streakers are often heard about on the news and at live sporting events. Would you consider streakers and nudists to be one in the same? Nudity is just being naked, right?
Streakers are seeking attention and breaking the law. Nudists are not known for doing either of these things.
Some Nudists do break the law, as a protest, in which they are willing to deal with the consequences of their actions. Many Nudists would say a “streaker” is not reflecting a Nudist or Naturist philosophy.

LikeDislikeNo. Streaking is a form of exhibitionism, which is the antithesis of nudism. Streakers WANT the attention. They WANT to be looked at. Nudists and naturists aren’t nude to be looked at or show off. We’re nude because being without clothing makes us feel better.

LikeDislikeDefinitely not: streakers are exhibitionists and doing it to shock (or at least amuse) people. Nudists just want to be naked because we feel happier that way, and do everything we can to avoid distressing people who feel otherwise.

LikeDislikeUsually not. Streakers aren’t nudists. They like to… “show off” of offend. But then again aren’t little kids streakers??
