Have you ever had a bad experience in Nudism?
This can go for both men and women. It can even dig deeper into the crevices of the past dealing with matters of politics, groups, personal experiences or attitudes of certain individuals. So, have you ever had a bad experience in nudism? Yes/No, what happened? Please keep any names anonymous.
I have. I was 19 or 20, so it was one of my first visits to a nudist resort. One of the residents had told me that the shower near the pool didn’t have hot water yet; it was early in the season and they were still handling some maintenance. But he told me that the shower on the other side of the campsites did have hot water. Before leaving I went and took a hot shower & got to take a look at the rest of the resort.
When I got back to the pool & parking lot area this blow-dried douchebag member of management confronts me like I had done something wrong. Apparently some resident had called the office and reported that they found it suspicious for a young single male to be walking through the campsites where the full timers lived. Majority of the residents were a good bit older than me and they did tend to be rather cliquish but this guy seemed to agree with the idea that a young man probably was dangerous.
He even said something to the effect of “lots of these people are regulars & I don’t know what your orientation is, but you are a stranger & a young man here.” I was like WTF should my orientation matter? In point of fact I’m hetero; but even if I wasn’t I don’t understand how that should have anything to do with anything. The place changed management soon after and ironically the new management loved me. They saw me as that young demographic they wanted to market to, rather than as a threat.

LikeDislikeMy negative experience is when I have to put my clothes on as I leave…

LikeDislikeOh hell yes. My ex and I used to belong to a very large resort just outside Sacramento. We split up while still members there. When my membership was due for renewal, the jerk-off manager refused to let me renew as a new single male. We had quite the shouting match, and he made sure I was placed on the AANR black list. AANR wouldn’t listen to my side of it. To this day, if it took only a dime to keep AANR or ANY of it’s resorts in business, I would happily watching them fail.

LikeDislikeWhat I find funny is if a single female was being told she was not permitted to attend the resort or join, there would be a lawsuit of some kind but for single men it’s not the same? It is still discrimination why do some of these resorts not see everytime they tell a single male this they risk a lawsuit? Now in the past most clubs or resorts would never tell a single male to leave if he was an AANR member so that is a difference but either way resorts need to get smart or they could get sued over it.

LikeDislike^ it is interesting how one person or one bad experience can have a negative tone for years to come. I am single (by death) and have trouble visiting nude resorts accross the country and at my age, find it funny while anoying. But what ever, as my kids say.

LikeDislikeYeah, some personality issues as noted above. The kind if issues one has in other situations anyway. By and large, the bad experiences have been vastly overshadowed by the good ones to the point that I can’t recall anything bad worth mentioning. Had the question been about good experiences, there isn’t time or room here to even begin.
