First Time nude going to a nudist beach
Hi , i live in Montreal and there is a nudist beach near my house. I wasn’t raised as a nudist and i never really thought about being one myself until i passed by the beach and saw how nice life would be like that. From that day, i started practicing nudism in my house (i live alone), but i have never been nude in-front of anyone in public.
I want to try and go to the nude beach, but i am afraid of being stared at (i am not confident with my body) or doing something wrong and being hated.
The beach near my house is very crowded so i don’t think many people will look at me in particular, but my questions are:
-is it ok if i don’t get nude as soon as i get there? like if i stay dressed the first few hours and then take my swimsuit off?
-If i get an erection, what should i do?
-do people look or stare at others while at the beach?
-What are the things i shouldn’t do?
-if i stay dressed, is it ok do initiate a conversation with a nude person, or do i have to be nude to talk to others?
Any recommendations or suggestions will be greatly appreciated! thank you :)
It’s okay to wear whatever you want at a clothing-optional beach. Wear your suit and take it off when you’re comfortable. If it’s too much, just keep it on or leave. If you get an erection, just cover up or lie down. All first-time men worry about erections. You will get used to being naked and won’t worry about it anymore. It is considered impolite to stare, but there are, unfortunately, people who come just to watch. They aren’t appreciated by anybody, and are usually men who stare at women, so don’t worry about them staring at you. Be friendly and polite, just as you would with clothed people. It’s okay to talk to naked people even if you are clothed and if you are frank enough to tell them it is your first time and you are a little shy, that will only endear you to them. We’ve all had a first time for a nude experience and understand. As for things you shouldn’t do, don’t stare or position yourself uncomfortably close to nude women you don’t know. If you want to meet people, walk by and say hi with a smile. Some will be friendly and some won’t. Don’t take it personal. I’ve found it easier to make friends if I have something with me that catches people’s interest like a kite or a puppy.
