Now, my personal opinion: it is hypocritical for nudists to claim that genitals just as acceptable as ears, but then welcome ear-piercing but not genital-piercing jewelry. In my opinion, behavior is what counts.
Yes, many resorts ban them as being “unnatural” and directing too much attention to those parts above others. I’m personally more “live and let live” as to other people’s personal grooming and decoration choices, but I prefer the natural look in others, and for myself.
