I received this question from someone and thought I’d ask the community for her! Anyone got any ideas?

I have been involved in nudist activities for several years now and have seen so many battles go on not just with groups fighting for freedom amongst the public but also fighting for territory within the nudist community. For example: Most people are aware of the conflicts between AANR and TNS who share some (not all) like-minded objectives. The same goes for younger groups such as Young Naturists America, Vita Nuda, Florida Young Naturists and Next Gen. Do you think there are too many politics surrounding the nudist community that prevent it from growing any further as a whole?

Anyone members of BN or YBN (British Naturism or Young British Naturists) also whats the max age you would consider a young naturist?

I’ve been to clothing optional events with friends in all types of environments and one thing I’ve noticed is there is some sort of not so subtle expectation to disrobe. After all it is a clothing optional event, right? Which means there must be someone willing to be the first to take their clothes off in front of everyone. Have you ever felt pressured to be naked in a social setting as described above? Have you ever felt pressured to get naked when it was more comfortable participating with the clothes that you arrived in?

I am a nudist and was on something from my Twitter account, when I found a post where someone was commenting that there were all races at their nudist resort. That’s when I realized that I have only seen white people at the places where I’ve gone (Gunnison Beach, Black’s Beach, Crescent Rock, and Sunny Rest Resort).

It seems to extend to the Internet. Now I’ve seen more mixing of the races on the Net, but it’s still predominately white, for the most part.

Why is that? Is there something that I am missing?
